The Director
Cody Middlebrook grew up in the promise land off the Never Never of NSW Australia, with not much to do he kept himself busy making action adventure films, inspired by his favorite movies as a boy.
After moving to London and studying at the Raindance Film school, life got in the way and took him on a different journey as a scientist, working in Artificial Intelligence.
Now after 20 years of diversion and years of experience, working in technology he is back making Films with his first short film making its debut as writer and director of “Code Green”.
Currently he is working on a 25 years in the making film called Becoming Van Damme, a documentary about a middle aged man coming into the sunset of his youth, having one last shot of becoming his childhood hero, Jean Claude Van Damme.
The film is centred around the efforts to become Van Damme, to look like Van Damme and master his signature ballet marital art 360 degree spinning split kick, which made him a superstar in the film Bloodsport.
